[Watch] Star Wars Rogue One Spoilers: Bail Organa Returns

Fans cannot wait for the upcoming release of the Star Wars Rogue One film. In less than two weeks, the next installment of one of the most loved film series will hit the theaters. Although the premiere is close, the movie is still dropping some mind blowing promos and clips from the movie.

The return of Bail Organa

The newly dropped clip of Rogue One movie shows Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones, delivering a rousing speech in front of the Rebel Alliance. This is to lift the spirits of the Rebels because the Empire will have absolute power across the entire galaxy after the completion of the Death Star imminent. Erso reminded the Alliance that they need to fight although they are faced with overwhelming odds.

As the camera goes around the crowd of serious faces, it comes across a familiar one, Bail Organa. Jimmy Smits is back in the Star Wars universe as he reprises his role as the founding member of the Rebel Alliance, former Senator or Alderaan and Princess Leia’s adoptive father. Adopting Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala’s daughter is his most critical role in the Star Wars universe. He is also known to be an ally of the Jedi.

As reported by Digital Spy, Smit’s return was kept under wraps until now. Jimmy Smits played the character first in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and then in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
