[Watch] The Great Ace Attorney 2 Trailer Confirms 3DS Exclusivity

The Great Ace Attorney 2: Ryunosuke Naruhodo’s Resolution is the second of the series of the visual novel adventure game developed by Capcom. The game has inspired a lot of adaptations. This includes manga adaptations, musicals and films. Capcom has not announced the release date and price for the game yet.

In The Great Ace Attorney 2, players get to take on the part of a lawyer who is tasked to unravel the truth behind crimes. Thus, players will be able to investigate these crimes throughout the game. They can do this by basing their ongoing investigation on strong evidences, taking part in cross-examinations and of course, by also joining first-hand investigations.

The Great Ace Attorney 2 Gameplay

The Great Ace Attorney 2 divides the gameplay into two types of sections: investigations and courtroom trials. On one part, in the investigations, the player searches the environments. In these environments, players get to collect information and evidence, initiate talks with clients, witnesses, and the police.

On the other part of the gameplay in the game is the courtroom trials. This is where players should aim for a goal where the clients are acquitted and thus plead “not guilty”. This is done by determining lies and inconsistencies in testimonies of all parties involved.

Game Review

The previous franchise of the game called Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodo Ryunosuke no Boken is called by Kotaku as “certainly the best built of the Ace Attorney games on the gameplay side”. The game was exclusively released in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS July 9, 2015. Fans expect that the second version in the franchise which is an exclusive 3DS game of Ace Attorney will also meet their expectations or more so, exceed it.
