Zelda Breath Of The Wild Game Language Translated – What It Means

Zelda Breath of the Wild can be considered one of the most expansive games in the Zelda series. In fact, it has its own language. The revelation opens the title to a lot of new theories. This is because players can unlock much of the entry’s backstory with this ancient script.

Players and fans of the franchise will know Zelda Breath of the Wild is one of the Nintendo Switch’s flagship games. It will also be the last title for the Nintendo Wii U. This puts a lot of pressure in the entry as this means the latest Zelda game will have to perform well.

Interestingly, Zelda Breath of the Wild has been regarded as one of the best entries in the franchise. The game’s usage of new gameplay mechanics can be one of the reasons of its critical acclaim. However, fans who are into exploring the Zelda mythos can attribute the title’s success with its story’s depth.

Zelda Breath Of The Wild: Secret Language?

The news came courtesy of Zelda fans on Reddit. User sparkthedarkness posted some pictures of his translation of the game’s Sheikah language. Fans can remember instances of these characters appearing in some areas of the game.

Players gave the language much attention after it appeared alongside the game’s special edition box. “The Hyrule Fantasy” is seen etched in the Sheikah language in one of the box’s free scrolls. Some players even point at the dye shop in the in-game world to contain the same language.

Unfortunately, the new Zelda game does not provide much to work on when it comes to using the language. Players are still wondering if the mysterious text has any use or if it is only there to expand the game’s lore. Regardless, gamers who are up for exploration can try to find more clues on their own.

More Easter Eggs

The Sheikah language adds another dimension to the Zelda game’s depth of Easter Eggs. According to Game Rant, the title pays homage to a lot of classic tropes in previous installments. After all, the first Zelda entry arrived on February 21, 1986. Link has become a staple to some classic gamers that others consider Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time as some of the franchise’s best games.

Others may now add Breath of the Wild to the mix. Gamers and reviewers praise the title’s new gameplay mechanics and open world feature. After all, the title even allows Link to defeat the evil Ganon without the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield. In fact, these legendary artifacts can be obtained as extra items in the game.

Players can expect to find out more if the Sheikah language will unlock mysteries inside the game. Its recent discovery will undoubtedly have more gamers explore the title to find hidden messages they can use to expand the game’s lore.
