Zelda Breath Of The Wild Guide To Buying A House – Tips & Tricks

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild became the most successful game of its series that received high ratings. One of the newest features introduced in the game is the chance for Link to purchase his own abode. Here’s a Zelda Breath of the Wild guide on how the protagonist can buy his own house after some time spent in the game.

The game introduced several quests and experiences that the main character can start anytime he wants. It introduced so much that players might overlook some of the side-quests that are actually fun. This Zelda Breath of the Wild guide will allow Link to finish one of those.

This Zelda Breath of the Wild guide particularly points to the quest known as “Hyrule Homeowner.” After jumping from one town into another, Link can own one of the houses in the open-world near the Hateno Village.

According to GameRant, The main requirement of purchasing the said house is, of course, Rupees, the money or currency of the game. After purchasing the building, Link can further improve and enhance it by purchasing a bunch of furniture.

Hateno Village

The first thing to do is to locate the Hateno Village, which is located at the east of Hyrule and south of Mount Lanayru. Link will encounter the village at some point of the journey when he needs to visit the dye shop. The dye shop would allow Link to color his clothes into a different one.

South of the Hateno Village, near the Myahm Agana Shrine, Link can find new houses made by Bolson Construction. Go further towards the south and he will encounter a wooden bridge leading to an old cottage.

During Link’s first visit, he will notice a busy crew just outside the old cottage. Look for Bolson, a foreman, who will mostly be at the back of the house. After interacting with him, he will know that Link wants to buy the house from him.

A Huge Discount

Initially, their plan was to tear the old cottage down but since Link showed interest, he can purchase it for 50,000 Rupees. After selecting the option to purchase it, Bolson will offer Link a deal that would allow him to buy the house 3,000 Rupees cheaper.

It will start the “Hyrule Homeowner” quest and would require Link to gather 30 Wood Bundles before he can own the old cottage. Once the materials are collected and given to Bolson, he will give Link the key to the house. It will become the main character’s permanent home in Hyrule which he can furnish further according to USGamer, for a price that is.
