Nintendo had huge success with the release of The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild on their latest console. The game received nearly perfect reviews from known critics, making it one of the games to achieve high scores across the board. Because of its popularity, many had started making their own Zelda Breath Of The Wild guide posts to help others finish the game.
Breath Of The Wild requires players to take the role of Link, the protagonist of the game. Link has to face different enemies while going on an adventure. Instead of just walking, running, or riding a horse, he also has to climb ruins, mountains, and castles. Here’s a Zelda Breath Of The Wild guide to make all of those easier.
Climbing became a necessary part of the game since it would open other areas up for exploration. To make everything easier, developers have included the Climbing Gear Armor so that Link can easily scale everything. Here’s a Zelda Breath Of The Wild guide in locating each piece of the said armor.
Climbing Gear Armor Increases Stamina
According to VG 247, Link’s ability to climb depends on the size of his stamina bar. Players can choose to increase Link’s stamina the same way as his health or they could just go for the Climbing Gear Armor.
The Climbing Gear Armor increases Link’s stamina and it makes him faster in climbing. It is made up of three pieces: The Climber’s Bandana, the Climbing Gear, and the Climbing Boots.
If Link manages to collect all pieces of the set, it would give a special bonus like the Ancient Armor Set. The whole armor would reduce Link’s stamina consumption when climbing, giving him more chance to explore more.
Climbing Gear Armor Location
According to GosuNoob, players can find the three pieces in three different locations in Hyrule. Link can obtain the Climber’s Bandana by going in the Ree Dahee Shrine. It is located in a shrine opposite to the river which passes through the Dueling Peaks Tower.
Link can locate the Climbing Gear, the second piece, inside the Chaas Qeta Shrine. The shrine is located on the South-Eastern shore of Hyrule. Simply look for an area of curved land in the Necluda Sea and the shrine rests on that land.
The last piece, the Climbing Boots, rests at the Tahno O’ah Shrine at the Eastern part of Hyrule, closer to the center. It can be found at the Eastern edges of Mount Lanayru. Start from the Hateno Research Lab and head North-East.
