Zelda Breath of the Wild Vah Ruta Terminal Locations: Find All Terminals Easily

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild offers different kinds of adventures for Link, the protagonist of the game. One of these adventures require him to dwell the insides of the Divine Beast Vah Ruta, a giant metal elephant. To avoid getting lost inside, here are the Zelda Breath of the Wild Vah Ruta terminal locations that can guide players.

In order to start the Divine Beast Vah Ruta main quest, Link has to speak with King Dorephan. After the interaction, the king will give Link Zora’s Armor, a set similar to the Climbing Gear, which he will use for the quest. Follow the map markers and it will eventually lead the main character into a battle with Vah Ruta.

First Terminal

After defeating Vah Ruta, the game will require Link to go inside it. Look for the entrance where a demonic eye will stare at Link. Simply kill these with a standard arrow in order to clear a path to the passageway.

Once inside, defeat the Guardian and move towards the body of water. At its center, there’s a gate blocked by a malevolent gunk. Look for the demonic eye submerged in water and shoot it with a standard arrow.

After the gunk disappears, use the Cryonis in order to lift the gate. Inside it, activate the a sub-terminal in order to retrieve the map of Vah Ruta. It will also allow Link to control the machine’s trunk and to spray water out of it.

Look for the body of water located on the other side of the room and go up the ramp which leads to another room. Use the Magnesis to fully rotate the handle found on the wall above the water in order to reveal the first terminal.

Second Terminal

In order to find the second of the four Zelda Breath of the Wild Vah Ruta terminal locations, simply go through the exit of the room of the first terminal. By the right of the first gate where Link used the Cryonis, there is a ramp leading to the water wheel room.

Wait until the water wheel submerges and up right, then use the Cryonis to freeze the water of the wheel. It will drain the water and will fully reveal the second terminal.

Third Terminal

The third of the four Zelda Breath of the Wild Vah Ruta is found at the opposite side of the door where Link came in and around Vah Ruta’s body. Use the previous map obtained in order to spray the orb water in order to open the gate to the third terminal.

Use Stasis to freeze the orb once the gate opens. Go inside and use the third terminal. The gate will stay open permanently once Link activates it.

Fourth Terminal

Link can find the last terminal at the top floor where he has to face a Guardian. Use the water wheel to get on top and defeat the Guardian. From there, locate a switch that will activate a waterfall that he can use to go back to the entrance.

Use the map again to straighten Vah Ruta’s trunk and proceed to its tip. Once there, jump towards the elephant’s head where the last terminal is in flames. Spray it with water using its trunk and it can be activated to face the Waterblight Ganon which, according to the Zelda Wiki, corrputed Vah Ruta.
